A Weekend in Minneapolis with Kate Arends of Wit & Delight

I recently had the privilege of shooting and exploring the Twin Cities with Kate to visit some of her favorite spots! We started at the Minneapolis Farmers Market and then made our way over to Minnehaha Falls for a picnic. We then headed to St. Paul where we stopped by her favorite shop Idun. I have heard so much about it but had never been there myself. I can totally see why she loves it, the shop is beautiful and carries wonderful brands, check it out if you haven’t! We then made our way to Kate’s favorite place to get oysters, Meritage. Then she took her adorable bike from Handsome Cycles and showed me some beautiful trails behind the North Loop where she frequents. Kate is an incredible lady with much talent. Her love for beauty, art, and fashion and experience in the design world really comes through in her work. She not only does design and branding, but also runs her lovely blog Wit & Delight. You can also follow Kate on instagram witanddelight_.

Copper Hen Cakery & Kitchen

Some dear friends of mine, Chris and Danielle Bjorling, opened up an amazing restaurant and cakery about a month ago. Copper Hen Cakery is a farm to table restaurant that uses the best quality ingredients to produce incredible food and desserts. Not only is the food delicious, but the restaurant is one you have to see. The interior is beautiful; with bright modern minimalist decor, it’s a place you want to be in. They are located on Nicollet Ave. on eat street. Here is their website to find out more information about them. Do yourself a favor and go check them out, they serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends!
